History of Hurt Challenge
Why hurt? Based on the craziness and fun that was Search4Hurt 2 back in 2013-2014, auditions taken from athlete sporting history and video submission saw 12 aspiring athletes selected to take on HurtCamp, 24 hours of endurance competition. From that two team members, a guy and girl were selected to be the first team members of Search4Hurt; Andrew Papadopolus and Leah Dansie. The Search4Hurt 2 episodes focused on team training and preparation to showcase what it takes to win and compete in sports including Stand Up Paddle boarding, Mountain Bike Racing, Trail Running, Cross-country skiing, Grid Iron, Triathlon, Obstacle Course Racing and Strongman. Search4Hurt has had three series to date, with series 1 and 3 starring professional ex Australian triathlete, Matt Murphy turned multi-sport and endurance racing athlete. Each series has shown training sessions with some of Australia’s best sporting teams and athletes and has aired on ESPN and ChannelGO. The DVD production is now complete with online episodes uploaded to Search4Hurt facebook.
